Sussex based Total Wellbeing Coach, Adrienne, has a question for you.
So, the response to the question when I asked it last week was pretty predictable and a resounding, No!
The same was true last week during my talk when I asked at the beginning, but the same question at the end of the talk elicited a different response. Why?
I talked about The Lurch and how we tend to outsource our wellbeing, and how we can tap into simple ways to slow down, ground and to find our centre. Why?
to tune into our intuitive power
to allow our brains to ‘sync up’ and process our swirling thoughts and experiences
to tap into our creativity
One of the easiest ways to drop down and feel into your wise body is to connect to your five senses.
So why not do this whilst walking barefoot on the grass, holding your favourite warm drink and soaking up all you can feel though your sense of touch, sight, sound, taste and smell.
Slowly, without rushing.
This is not something to add to your list of tasks. It’s something to look forward to, to cherish, knowing that you will feel somehow better and more grounded afterwards.
And if it doesn’t feel that way to you, then there will be another way to access this feeling for you. Further exploration needed.
Standing on the stage last week, telling my personal story, my 'why' was a jump so far out of my comfort zone, I thought I would fly, or puke!
Thankfully, neither happened!
I dreamed of doing this at the beginning of 2023, so to have actually done it (alongside 9 other awesome women, in a group guided by experts and supported in a very beautiful way), feels just amazing!
Would I do it again?
Hell yeah!
